This year’s event will be held on Thursday, May 7 at The Club.
Guests will enjoy a delicious luncheon, an exclusive fashion show presented by Frances Valentine, puppy photo opportunities, and multiple rounds of Bingo—where winners will take home beautiful, unique, and vintage designer handbags.
Thank you to all of our attendees and corporate sponsors for their generous support of Shelby Humane and the lifesaving work made possible through this event.

The Best Friends of Shelby Humane is a dedicated nonprofit group of volunteers committed to supporting the shelter beyond its operating budget. Through the planning and execution of creative fundraisers and special events, they provide critical financial support that directly impacts the lives of homeless pets in Shelby County.
Each year, their signature events—Cup of Love, Designer Bag Bingo, and ’Twas the Night Before Christmas—bring the community together in meaningful ways, all while helping ensure the animals at Shelby Humane receive the care and second chances they deserve.

Lynden Blake is a Nashville-based TV host and sideline reporter who appears on OutKick’s digital platforms and on ESPN broadcasts during basketball season. A native of Alexander City, Alabama, Lynden has spent the past decade covering stories across the Southeast—from national championships and Auburn’s Final Four run to hurricanes and major elections.
Before relocating to Nashville, she was a familiar face on Good Day Alabama on WBRC-6. An Auburn University graduate, Lynden now proudly cheers for Vanderbilt alongside her husband, Chad, who serves as the track and cross country coach at Vanderbilt University. When they’re not covering games or coaching athletes, they’re home with their two dogs—making the most of the little free time they share.

Adam Schwartz is an award-winning, Emmy-nominated filmmaker based in Birmingham, Alabama. He serves as managing producer and director of It’s a Southern Thing’s viral sketch comedy series, So True, Y’all, where he is also one of the on-screen talents. In addition, he co-hosts the online sci-fi and fantasy book club, Literarily Wasted, connecting readers through lively discussions and shared fandoms.
A devoted dog lover, Adam proudly admits to having more than 1,800 dog photos on his phone—most of them of his own pups!
